Originally booked through Yourgolftravel and paid in full only to be informed 4 days before our stay that booking could not go ahead due to mis communication. Was finally sorted but found the experience very unsatisfactory. Be very careful when using Yourgolftravel as they do not seem very reliable ! We had a room for three but facilities only catered for two with third bed squeezes in under window.
The spa is spot on and the golf courses excellent. The one downside to the golf was that it was packed and felt very rushed, other than that I would highly recommend. Had to mark this or wouldn’t let me continue with my report. Lakes course was nice with some challenging holes, tees were very warn and some temp tees. Greens were firm and for time of year very nice. Strong winds added to the challenge and brave shots over water in strong gusts resulted in a lot of fun. Again the rough was thick in places leading to lost balls, but the course was very good fun to play.
